We leave town a lot. It struck me the other day when I overheard Scott leaving a message for our neighbor, Joe, asking for the 400th time if he "wouldn't mind" walking our elderly dog twice a day and feeding our obese cat who's fiesty and shaped like a football.

Joe is a great guy, a few years older than us, has a good job. Very Brawny and reliable. Offers to help with moving large objects, that sort of thing. We've become friends with him over the years, but we're not all that close. Probably because we asking him to do stuff.

"Hey, Joe, Its Scott. We were just wondering if there was any chance you may be free to walk the dog this weekend. Give us a call, buddy, we're around tonight." I winced a little, I'm not good with asking for favors.

I started laughing. Like what if we started calling him at random, asking for more favors.

"Hey, Joe, its Scott. I was just wondering if you could stop on by this weekend and roll up all my pennies. Alright, bro, gimmme a call."

I can't stop with this, I think its about the funniest series. Ever. Loggins! Yes. And Scott and I cant stop singing the Michael McDonald-- for like three weeks. So, so bad. And the same thing happens at work. I'm totally hooked.
